In 2022, I wanted to improve my audio production skills so I started learning how to sample / manipulate audio. I was inspired by electronic artists like Nosaj Thing,Baths,Purity Ring,Dntel,Starkey - who have really cool rhythmic or glitchy vocal effects I admired.
I was working on a number of electronic projects at the time, and many of the tracks I made felt empty without vocals. I reached out to a bunch of people on the Twitch Music category, but couldn't find anyone willing to collaborate. Instead, I started making Clips in my friends channels and used those to practice sampling, thus marking the start of the Twitch Clip Song project.
A Twitch Clip Song is a...song (usually 1-2 minutes) created using Clips from Twitch. The Clips are sliced up, put into a sampler, and paired with music made by yours truly.

I use Propellerhead Reason as my DAW. I either download clips directly from Twitch or record them from VODs using OBS.
